That is what made this past week so meaningful for RGV LEAD and our Member District students from Donna ISD. Through a hands-on visit hosted by the Port of Brownsville, students had the opportunity to explore the world of manufacturing and logistics in a real workplace setting.

We are excited about the tremendous opportunities this renewed partnership will bring to La Joya ISD students through career-connected learning, work-based learning experiences, industry engagement, and regional workforce pipeline initiatives.

RGV LEAD is excited to welcome Valley View ISD back as a renewing Member District for the 2026–2027 academic year!

Work-Based Learning works best when schools and industry partners plan together. That is why the connection between RGV LEAD and the Rio Grande Valley Builders Association matters.

A strong workforce does not begin on the first day of a job. It begins much earlier, when students can see what is possible, understand what employers need, and practice real skills in settings connected to their future careers.

Water problems rarely begin with an empty reservoir. They often begin earlier, when farmers, utilities, builders, industries, households, and public agencies are working from different facts, different timelines, and different fears.

We are working with our Regional Member Districts in aligning our regional students into workforce pipelines.

We are excited to reconnect with HCISD students, educators, and leadership through meaningful college, career, and workforce readiness opportunities. T
