Our Region. Our Focus
Our Mission.
Our mission is to ensure that youth have the skills and credentials needed to thrive in the 21st century.
For over 30 years, RGV LEAD has connected industry and education leaders to address the workforce demands of the Rio Grande Valley. We proudly serve all four counties—Hidalgo, Willacy, Cameron, and Starr—fostering collaboration and innovation that fuel economic growth. Employers across the region are seeking qualified local talent for rewarding, well-paying careers that require education beyond high school. To meet this demand, RGV LEAD partners with school districts and industries to strengthen career pathways, enhance study programs, and expand high-quality work-based learning—bridging the gap between classroom learning and the workplace to better prepare students for future careers.

Our District Partners: Brownsville ISD, Edcouch-Elsa ISD, Harlingen CISD, Hidalgo ISD, La Feria ISD, La Joya ISD, La Villa ISD, Los Fresnos CISD, Lyford CISD, McAllen ISD, Mercedes ISD, Raymondville ISD, Rio Grande City CISD, San Isidro ISD, San Perlita ISD, Santa Rosa ISD, Sharyland ISD, South Texas ISD, Valley View ISD, Vanguard Academy,
Right from the start, we customize and co-create. At every step, we tap into our education and industry expertise, which cultivates faster, fresher, more substantial outcomes.
The Rio Grande Valley area of influence is within four Texan counties: Starr County, Hidalgo County, Willacy County, and Cameron County.
