RGV LEAD Joins Congresswoman Monica De La Cruz for Education Roundtable Discussion
Strong education systems are built through steady collaboration. They grow when schools, elected leaders, employers, families, and community partners come together to listen, share needs, and focus on what students need to succeed.
RGV LEAD was honored to participate in a Congressional Roundtable on Education hosted by Congresswoman Monica De La Cruz. We extend our sincere thanks to Congresswoman De La Cruz for the invitation and for creating space for meaningful conversation about the future of education in the Rio Grande Valley.

For RGV LEAD, this discussion reflects a core part of our mission: connecting education and workforce needs so students can see clear pathways from the classroom to careers, college, military service, entrepreneurship, and meaningful community leadership.
The Rio Grande Valley has tremendous talent. Students across the region are preparing for careers in health care, education, skilled trades, public service, technology, business, agriculture, and many other fields. Many are also the first in their families to pursue postsecondary education or advanced training. When community partners align around those students, the path forward becomes clearer.
The goal is simple and urgent: help students graduate prepared for the next step.
RGV LEAD’s commitment to students across the Rio Grande Valley
RGV LEAD remains committed to working with elected officials, educators, industry leaders, and community stakeholders to strengthen educational opportunities throughout the region. That work centers on building connections that help students understand both what is possible and how to get there.
Looking ahead with shared purpose
RGV LEAD is grateful to Congresswoman Monica De La Cruz for inviting our organization to be part of this important Congressional Roundtable Discussion on Education. We value the opportunity to contribute to conversations that affect students, families, schools, and employers across the Rio Grande Valley.
The work ahead will require continued communication and shared responsibility. It will require listening to educators, supporting students, engaging families, and strengthening connections between education and the workforce.
RGV LEAD remains committed to that work.
