I shared some personal experiences, learning lessons, and reflections on the challenges we experience as women. We talked about inspiring, illuminating, and impacting each other. The reality is there is something we can all learn from each other. Near the end of the luncheon, we took part in a symbolic deed that brought it all together. It was such a beautiful and moving moment to witness. Huge thanks to all the women that joined me at Harlingen Area Chamber of Commerce’s Women Empowering Women Luncheon! And a million thanks to my parents, who surprised me by being there! It meant so much to have you all there and for your support! I heard from several women that they wanted to attend and tried RSVPing but, unfortunately, could not because the chamber had sold out. I’m so sorry about that. Thanks to you as well, though, for your support! If there’s a next time, I’ll let you know. ~ Lizzy
