RGV LEAD is proud to announce that it will host a virtual mentoring program for the TRPN district students. The pilot program will kick off on June 21st and 23rd, but the orientation was held on May 20th. The virtual summer mentor program will consist of a panel of speakers in the TRPN pathway clusters. Panelists will share the requirements for the TRPN pathway careers in welding, construction, education, wind energy, and health education. Then, students will be given employability skills lessons. Plans include students being paired with employers in the fall of 2022. RGV LEAD contractors Janie Johnston Lopez and Dr. Norma Salaiz lead the mentor program.
