“Nor rain, snow, sleet, hail..nor the pandemic” can stop the RGV LEAD Annual Regional Conference!Members of the planning committee are busy securing guest speakers, employers, and school districts to participate in the upcoming January conference. The theme for the 2021 conference is: “Beyond 2020: The New Horizons”. Participants will be engaged in breakout sessions to learn how to excel during this pandemic, engage in leadership activities, hear updates from the State, etc. They will be able to share what has and has not worked for them in their place of employment during the “new normal” period.An added feature to divert from the pandemic’s social distance frustration will be arts and crafts sessions. Participants will be notified before the conference which sessions will be available so they will have time to pick and choose the appropriate session.
