Although the pandemic has thrown a wrench in the road, it won’t stop Sharyland ISD from providing mentoring opportunities to its students. The mission of this program is to match successful community professionals with aspiring high school students to ensure that all participating students graduate from high school with a college and career-ready mindset. This year’s program targets juniors and seniors and will take place virtually during scheduled meeting opportunities and outside the school day through meetings arranged by Men-tors and Proteges. Adult mentors are carefully selected and follow a curriculum designed.
