La Feria High School Senior Oneida V. Molina Delivers Ambassador orientation Welcome Address

Vol.2, Iss. 8 | April 2021

I am happy to say that RGV Lead has surpassed my expectations and has given me insight into skills and net-working that will benefit me in the future.~ Oneida Molina

Good morning and welcome to the 2021 RGV Lead Ambassador Orientation. It is great to see so many student leaders in one place, although that place is Zoom. My name is Oneida V Molina and I am a current junior at Los Fresnos High School. This is my second year as an RGV Lead student ambassador. I have learned a lot from RGV Lead in so many different aspects. I plan to go into the medical field after high school. It is a field-based on teamwork and communication, because of this, I joined RGV Lead in hopes of gaining experience and preparation in these areas. I am happy to say that RGV Lead has surpassed my expectations and has given me insight into skills and networking that will benefit me in the future.

With that being said, it is with great honor that I welcome you all to today’s conference. I know from personal experience that RGV LEAD conferences and summits provide students with fundamental leadership skills that are required for success. Today’s orientation will include a workshop that focuses on leadership characteristics, team building, and the roles and responsibilities that we hold as student ambassadors. Like many of you, I am excited to learn and ready to continue my journey as an ambassador next school year. For those who are seniors, we thank you for your time and dedication to the organization. We wish you the best in your new adventures. I once again welcome you to the 2021 RGV Lead Ambassador Orientation.

Thank you!Oneida V. Molina
