Pat has inspired me in countless ways. I could write a book on all the ways this woman has impacted my life. I just want to say that Pat has been an amazing influence in my life. Her work ethic, passion, and perseverance are completely admirable!! She has made such an amazing impact in the RGV because she took the charge of creating a collaborative movement that has changed students’ lives since 1992 when RGV LEAD (formerly known as Tech Prep) was created. Her legacy will live on forever!! I am constantly inspired by her unshakable faith, values, and passion to serve and bring positive change. Pat has changed the landscape for so many students. She has inspired me since the day I met her, and what started as a business relationship, has transpired into a beautiful friendship. Pat, we will all miss you greatly!! However, we want you to know that we will pour our hearts into continue building what you started! You leave an untouchable legacy, and we can only hope that we will build beyond that. We hope you truly enjoy retirement because God knows you deserve it!!!! Love you so very much!!

It has been such a privilege to work alongside Pat in service to the children of our region. I have deep respect and admiration for her and her work. It was not just about the work that she did in the region but the manner in which she did her work. Pat carried herself with grace and elegance and always reminded us of the moral imperative behind our work. She has left her imprint in South Texas.

Mrs. Bubb is a very beautiful lady inside and out. She has been a great leader and an inspiring mentor. She has been a wonderful blessing in my life and has impacted the lives of so many others. I feel very blessed to have worked with Mrs. Bubb for twenty three years. During our time together we spent numerous late evenings in the office working to meet grant proposal deadlines. We always worked well together and I always felt appreciated, because she never failed to express it. God has truly used her to make a positive impact in the Rio Grande Valley. Although I will miss working with her, I’m happy for her and I congratulate her on her retirement. She will always stand out in my mind as the best boss ever.

I think it’s undebatable that you are a pillar of our CTE community in the Rio Grande Valley. You have been instrumental at fostering valuable and much-needed collaborations between us as CTE administrators and our community stakeholders in an effort to provide enhanced opportunities for our CTE students. These collaborations have greatly helped link various community resources to our schools to help our youth achieve more academic success and prepare them even further for their future college/career life. I have learned so much from you over the years and wish you nothing but the best on your retirement. Hopefully, you will take this opportunity to get some much deserved rest, enjoy your children and grandchildren, and finally enjoy and celebrate all of the wonderful contributions you have made to our RGV school districts. Your work ethic and energy so admirable and contagious that I know it will live on in many of us!
