RGV LEAD is proud to announce that Lizzy de la Garza Putegnat, RGV LEAD Board Chair and Account Executive for Schneider Electric, has recently been appointed by Governor Greg Abbott to the Texas State Technical College (TSTC) System Board of Regents.
I am deeply honored to be appointed by Governor Greg Abbott to the Texas State Technical College System Board of Regents! Those who truly know me know how passionate I am about education, workforce training, and economic development. I’m excited to serve on the Board and be part of the amazing work TSTC is doing across its 10 campuses in Texas to ensure its students receive excellent hands-on training and can master the in-demand skills that Texas companies need most. I look forward to helping build student-centered opportunities and working with the team to support TSTC’s success in developing the highest quality workforce and strengthening the competitiveness of Texas business and industry to ensure a vibrant economy.
