Leonard Sanchez and Maisey Martinez, RGV LEAD Ambassadors from Brownsville Lopez Early College High School, led the invocation and Pledge of Allegiance. These outstanding students also presented in one of the breakout sessions on Cultivating Strong.
Educational Leaders. The presentation focused on what it means to be an educational leader and the growth of an academic leader. The students presented detailed slides on the traits of a leader, the makings of a successful educational leader, cultivating leadership in others, and cultivating the nature of leadership.
Hearing these sophomore and junior students present to educators and administrators throughout the valley was impressive! Indeed, the leadership skills they have developed through the RGV LEAD Ambassador program and other extracurricular programs have impacted how they will face their future.
RGV LEAD commends Leonardo and Maisey on a job well done.
