Strengthening Our Regional Workforce Through Collaboration
Honored to represent RGV LEAD at the High Demand Job Training Grant Award Ceremony hosted by the Economic Development Corporation of Weslaco, with Texas Workforce Commissioner Representing Labor Alberto Treviño III presenting the grant award.
This initiative highlights the importance of collaboration between Workforce Solutions Lower Rio, Texas Southmost College, and Weslaco EDC to expand high-demand job training opportunities and strengthen our regional workforce.
A special shout-out to Dr. Stella Garcia and Frank Almaraz, members of the RGV LEAD Board of Directors, for their leadership and continued commitment to advancing education, workforce development, and economic growth in the Rio Grande Valley!
It was also a pleasure to see Commissioner Treviño supporting initiatives that create meaningful opportunities for our regional workforce.
At RGV LEAD, we remain committed to bridging education and industry, connecting students to career pathways, and preparing the next generation of skilled professionals.
Congratulations to all the partners on this important investment in our region’s future!
Empowering Today’s Students. Building Tomorrow’s Workforce.
