Empowering Future Leaders Through Communication Skills with RGV LEAD and TED-Ed Student Talks

RGV LEAD's goal is to help as many students as possible strengthen their communication skills — a soft skill that industry leaders continue to emphasize as critical for the workforce.

In 2024–2025, RGV LEAD became a host site for the TED-Ed Student Talks program. This initiative provided us access to a youth-centered curriculum designed to guide students in developing and delivering their own TED-style talks.

As part of our TED program closeout, we recorded students who completed the program — a milestone we're proud to share with you. This past year served as a pilot for RGV LEAD, and the results affirmed the value of this experience for our students.
