Empowering Educators: 42 Local Teachers Gain Industry Experience this Summer in the RGV

For the 10th year, Workforce Solutions, in partnership with RGV LEAD - Rio Grande Valley Linking Economic and Academic Development , Region One Education Service Center , Workforce Solutions Cameron, and Noble Construction proudly leads the Externships for Teachers program!

This summer, 42 teachers from over 13 school districts are gaining hands-on industry experience at local businesses across the RGV—including hospitals, manufacturers, banks, and even law enforcement agencies.

By connecting educators with real-world workplaces, we’re helping bring today’s careers into tomorrow’s classrooms.
